McCain’s Mega-Millions

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

McCain has managed to bank a bundle. Almost a handy hundred million for the 2008 fight from faithful fundraisers.

In a conference call with reporters, campaign manager Rick Davis said the campaign, the Republican National Committee and a handful of state victory accounts are on track to raise a combined $200 million for the primary period

Maverick made $22 million, just in June.

Post-post: Just wait to see what wonders will be worked, once McCain merges with Mitt.

McCain and Mitt: That’s the Ticket

McCain and Romney Talk Two Thousand Eight

McCain and Mitt mix it up for the media during a day fraught with fundraising. A terrific ticket for two thousand eight. It looks like:

Victory.

A source in the sky sends their submission regarding the off-the-record repartee presented in this photo:

Mitt Romney jokes to John McCain “Remember when they thought my religion was going to be a campaign issue? That was before anyone knew about Obama’s!”

Not really, but that’s a thousand word’s worth of wit in the picture we’re painting.

McCain a McCheater?

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

McCain embroiled in another excoriating ethics exposé?

Next the NYT will start going into the nexus of all the other times McCain McCheated on all his other McWives.

Perhaps we’re not past the possible point of Romney’s proper return to his suspended 2008 presidential run.

Romney Rapper Arrives

Friday, February 8th, 2008

This Mitt Romney rap is right on the record. His lyrics are lamentably late to the party, but all participation is patently appreciated.

Romney Retires Republican Race

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

Romney resigned and is retiring to his residence for some R and R.

For us, it was Romney or bust.

And now we are all busted. But unbroken.

We will wage on, unwearied, in the conservative cause.

McCain got Mauled in Maine

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Freshly picked from our limerick pundit’s proffering:

Media made maverick McCain
was soundly sent packing in Maine.
Though two Senators tried
to get John a free ride,
The voters in Maine aren’t insane.

Romney defeated McCain 52 to 21.

Chris Callaghan’s counter is encouraged.

UPDATE: Counter encountered. Check the comments.

    McCain Misses Majority of Matches

    Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

Missing from the media monitoring the GOP match-ups is this mention:

    McCain Misses Majority of Matches

By our measure, John McCain ceded five of nine forums.

Iowa, Wyoming, Nevada, Louisiana and Maine
All denied delegates to the ceding McCain

This media manufactured maniac maverick is not the right man for the mission. In the general election, he’ll be a mess. Mark our manifesto.

    For us:

    Romney or Bust.

We Have Seen This One Before

    Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

We have seen this one before, and it doesn’t end well.

One of the pundits who is no pertaining to our posse prompted our penning this prophetic post 4th of July post:

Nail in Coffin, or Note of Caution?
    Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

Yesterday the reporting was all over McCain’s campaign shakeup cacophony. A mass exodus resulting in a consolidation of power in the hands of a handful of hangers-on.

Folks familiar with the former primary proceedings should remember their history, and not completely close up their McCain challenge operations. Not yet.

Back in 2003 when John Kerry was manifesting the catastrophe he’d be as a candidate, his campaign underwent a similar shake-up. And then went on to win Iowa, and the nomination. To his party’s utter dismay and undoing.

Republicans, beware. Until McCain officially drops out, he could still cost us our best chance of winning in 2008. The Man, in our observations, is Mitt.

John McCain, ever more egomaniac than maverick, will be a John Kerry class catastrophe in the general election.
