Thank a solider. And remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country great and free.
Nobody is surprised that opportunists like Hillary and Obama realized that their 2008 bids were Dead on Arrival if they voted for the Iraq war supplemental. Nevertheless they did wait till the clock was running out in the Senate roll call to finally cast their ‘nays.’ They are no leaders, and nobody should expect to see them do anything but raise and burn obscene amounts of money to no avail.
A storyline to be replayed again in the 20th district in November for the showcase sellout so-called Ms. Sunshine: Tina Rutnik Gillibrand.
The democrat primary challenging congressional candidates won’t be scared off by Tina’s formidable (if ethically questionable) fundraising, not when she’s sold out the very core of her leftwing constituency.
Here’s how local lawmakers voted:
Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, Y.
Rep. John Hall, N.
Rep. Maurice Hinchey, N.
Rep. Mike McNulty, N.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, N.
Sen. Charles Schumer, Not voting (something about a nervous tic)
The cheese stands alone. Rutnik Gillibrand, you are the cheesiest. And Most Endangered, of course.
Neither Gillibrand nor her bigmac hack flak MacEneny had any comments in our inbox by the time this posted at the blog. We’ll post a follow-up if they do try to somehow spin the sell-out.
